A Beginner’s Guide to RDA – Live Online

Resource Description and Access (RDA) is the new cataloging standard replacing the Anglo-American Cataloguing Rules, 2nd edition (AACR2). This webinar will explore some of the major differences between AACR2 and RDA using many practical examples. More and more libraries are using RDA to create bibliographic and authority records. Consequently, all libraries will see an increase in RDA records when copy cataloging. Catalogers need to understand RDA records in order to plan their library’s transition to RDA and discuss these changes with their ILS vendor.
