Social media is one of the newest ways for libraries to connect to patrons, local resources, and the wider library community. It can be a low-cost, high-impact tool to enhance the services your library already provides, and to provide brand new services without a large dedication of staff or time.
Attendees will learn:
- Different kinds of social media and how libraries are using them successfully
- How to choose the right kinds of social media for your library and implement them
- How to be a successful social media administrator
- How to create a social media policy
Staff from Florida libraries may register for this workshop at no charge. Priority will be given to SEFLIN members. Non-members will be placed on a waiting list and added as space permits after the registration deadline.
