Non-Profiteers Unite!

Chambers of Commerce have it all figured out when it comes to collaborating and promoting business.
Each community Chamber has a structure, membership, a strategic plan all to support for-profit interests. They have a goal, a presence in the community and a network of contacts that mutually support each other. So why not non-profits? Why can’t there be a community-wide organization for non-profiteers instead of the traditional silo approaches?

• Identifying fellow non-profits in your community
• How to gather and collaborate with each other
• Determining community-wide goals
• How to implement them
• How to sustain and further develop this community engagement initiative.

The nonprofits’ role in the community is as important as the profits; however, many times it is difficult to go it alone. Whether it is due to budgets, personnel, infrastructure or political climate, an organizational approach will have strength in numbers providing greater resources mutually shared by all.
