Working With What You’ve Got: Reorganizing Existing Library Spaces
Discusses the many changes the Clay County Public Library System has made (and are in the process of making) over the last decade or so to create warm, engaging, comfortable places for people to spend time with us in the library. The session will focus on better utilizing the furniture and space you already have without a huge outlay of funds.
Brandy Black
Brandy Black grew up in a Navy family, living all across the United States. Her family finally settled in Florida where she graduated high school. She received her undergraduate degree Classical Studies from the University of Florida and received her MLIS from Florida State University. She has worked in libraries in both Georgia and Florida, spending the last 13 years at Clay County Public Library, FL, currently as the Operations Manager. In her free time she enjoys reading, going to Disney World, and traveling with her husband who is also a librarian.
