Engaging Seniors in Memory Care and Senior Living
The Orange County Library System recognized a need to expand programming for seniors in our community. In this session, we’ll share how we developed engaging programs for memory care participants and senior living residents, while also supporting caregivers and fostering meaningful connections.
Sheri Holland
Sheri Holland is the Community Engagement Manager for the Orange County Library System, where she has spent over 31 years supporting the community. For the past three years, she has worked in Community Engagement, overseeing Mobile Services, Social Workers, and Storytellers, and expanding access and building partnerships across a wide range of communities. Her recent work has concentrated on developing memory care and brain health programs for older adults.
This project was funded either under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act from the Institute of Museum and Library Services or the Library Cooperative Grant program. Florida’s LSTA and LCG programs are administered by the Department of State’s Division of Library and Information Services.
